Identitas Tafsir Nusantara: Analisis Historis dan Perkembangan Tafsir di Indonesia
Abstract
This article reviews the development and identity of interpretation in Indonesia based on its period. The period includes the classical, medieval, and contemporary periods. Not only that, this article also analyzes the various patterns and forms of interpretation and the teaching of interpretation that developed in each period. This article uses a qualitative method with a type of literature study (library research). As a literature study, this article uses books on the history of the development of interpretation as primary sources, and books, articles, and other literature related to the topic of discussion as secondary sources. In collecting research data, the researcher uses documentation techniques by collecting a number of references and books related to the research theme to then be analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques with a historical approach to see the genealogy of the development of interpretation in the archipelago.
