This study uses a qualitative method in the form of library research. The Tafsir The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation, and Commentary is used as the main source. The data analysis technique descriptive-analysis with thematic as well as the discipline of Sufism by borrowing the theory of Syaikh 'Abdūl Qadīr al-Jīlani. Data was collected using documentation techniques and analyzed descriptively and thematically. The results showed that Yusuf ‘Ali interpreted the concept, mindfulness reflected in the value of taubat (QS. al-Taḥrīm [66]: 8) and (QS. Gāfir [40]: 3) as a process of returning to Allah Swt. consciously, sincerely, and regretfully, muḥāsabah (QS. al-'Anbiyā’ [21]: 47) as introspection of deeds, intentions, and inner impulses, because all of them will be accounted for by Allah Swt, khauf (QS. al-Nāzi'āt [79]: 40) and (QS. al-Naḥl [16]: 112) are interpreted as fear that guards against negligence of Allah's law, and raja' (QS. al-'Ankabūt [29]: 5) is a positive expectation of His mercy. All these values are in line with the teachings of Shaykh Abdul Qadīr al-Jīlani in Ḥaqā'iq at-Taṣawwuf, who asserts that mindfulness is a spiritual awareness that grows through mental training and getting closer to Allah. Their views are relevant in the modern era in guiding humans towards a more meaningful and spiritually balanced life.
2025-09-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://ejurnal.iiq.ac.id/index.php/nidaquran/article/view/3470Ekploitasi Pekerja Anak Perpektif Al-Qur’an: Analisis Tafsir Al-Munir Karya Wahbab Zuhaili2025-12-23T07:24:51+00:00Mabda Dzikaramabda_dzikara@iiq.ac.idAdisya Hanifaadisyaahnf02@gmail.com
Child labor exploitation is a pressing global issue, often rooted in economic pressure and social injustice. This study aims to analyze the Qur'anic perspective on the phenomenon of child labor exploitation through a contemporary exegesis approach. The primary focus of this research is the analysis of Wahbah Al-Zuhayli’s interpretation in his work, Tafsir al-Munir fi al-'Aqidah wa al-Shari'ah wa al-Manhaj. This qualitative study employs library research to examine key verses in depth: QS. Al-An’am [6]: 151, QS. Al-Isra [17]: 31, QS. Al-Anfal [8]: 27, and QS. Al-Ahzab [33]: 72. The analysis is enriched by Islamic psychological approaches and Terry E. Lawson’s theory of child exploitation to contextualize the interpretation within modern phenomena. The results indicate that the Qur'an strictly prohibits all forms of child exploitation. Wahbah Al-Zuhayli interprets children as a great amanah (sacred trust) that must be protected. The prohibition against "killing children" does not only signify physical acts but also encompasses the deprivation of their rights to development, education, and a future. This interpretation remains relevant to modern violence theories covering physical, emotional, and verbal aspects. This study concludes that Tafsir al-Munir provides a robust theological foundation for efforts to protect children's rights and the formulation of relevant policies in the contemporary era.
2025-09-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://ejurnal.iiq.ac.id/index.php/nidaquran/article/view/3471Mushaf Kuno Aceh B.1.1.40: Telaah Aspek Kodikologi, Tekstologi dan Visual Al-Qur’an2025-12-23T07:36:52+00:00Adithiya Warmanadithiyawj@iiq.ac.id
The old quranic manuscript B.1.1.40 is one of the preserved manuscripts at the Bayt Al-Qur'an and Istiqlal Museum, Jakarta. The aim of this study is to analyze Wahbah al-Zuḥailī’s interpretation of Qur’anic verses on jihad pertaining to women and its relevance to Islamic law concerning women’s participation in armed conflict. The research employs a library-based method with a qirāʾah mubādalah approach and social role theory. The primary data are drawn from the Qur’an and Wahbah al-Zuḥailī’s Tafsīr al-Munīr, while secondary data consist of relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that jihad is not solely the responsibility of men but also of women, both in physical and non-physical forms. Al-Zuḥailī’s interpretation supports women’s involvement in jihad in accordance with the requirements of the Sharīʿah and is relevant to contemporary Islamic legal discourse.
2025-09-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://ejurnal.iiq.ac.id/index.php/nidaquran/article/view/3476Resepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Ayat-Ayat Zikir: Studi Living Qur’an Pada Tradisi Pembacaan Ratib Al-Attas di Majelis zikir An-Najah Kota Mataram2025-12-23T07:56:30+00:00Nurul Zam ZamiZamzaminurul14@gmail.comAhmad Hawasyihawasyi@iiq.ac.id
The reading of ratib al-Attas was first introduced to residents of the Dasan Agung neighborhood of Mataram city because they felt concerned about the surrounding environment where irregularities were becoming more and more commonplace.
