IMPLEMENTASI RAHN TASJILY PADA PEMBIAYAAN MODAL UMKM DI PEGADAIAN SYARIAH PEKANBARU
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Rahn Tasjily contract in working capital financing products for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at Pegadaian Syariah Pekanbaru. The research method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study involving observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with management and customers. The results indicate that the implementation of Rahn Tasjily aligns with the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 68/DSN-MUI/III/2008, where the collateralized asset (marhun) in the form of vehicle registration documents (BPKB) remains under the physical control of the customer to support business operations, while the official ownership document is held as formal security. Although this financing successfully mitigates capital liquidity constraints for business actors, operational barriers such as document maintenance delays and credit risk assessment challenges still exist. This study concludes that Rahn Tasjily plays a crucial role as an accelerative Islamic financial inclusion instrument for the MSME sector.
