IMPLEMENTASI FATWA DSN-MUI NO. 114/2017 DALAM PRAKTIK PEMBIAYAAN MUSYARAKAH PADA KOPERASI SYARIAH

Abstract

This study aims to understand and comprehensively analyze the implementation of the National Sharia Board-Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI) Fatwa Number 114/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 concerning the Syirkah Contract in the practice of musyarakah financing at the Khairu Ummah Islamic Cooperative. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation located in Leuwiliang, Bogor Regency. The results showed that the Khairu Ummah Islamic Cooperative had implemented sharia principles in accordance with the DSN-MUI fatwa, through a rigorous selection process by the financing committee and continuous supervision by the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS). However, field findings also revealed that musyarakah financing only accounted for 20% of total financing due to the complexity of the contract and the lack of financial literacy understanding of members, thus requiring cooperatives to continue to educate in order to optimize the potential of this profit-sharing-based product.
