IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN PAI BERBASIS BIMBINGAN KONSELING UNTUK PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SISWA MENUJU INDONESIA EMAS 2045
Abstract
Character education is the primary foundation for shaping the golden generation towards a Golden Indonesia 2045. Amidst the challenges of globalization and digitalization, student character development faces various obstacles, necessitating strategic solutions. One such obstacle is the implementation of guidance and counseling-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as part of the national curriculum. This study aims to describe the implementation, character development, and effectiveness of guidance and counseling-based PAI learning at SMK Jayabeka 01 Karawang. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that implementation was carried out in an integrated manner between intracurricular and extracurricular activities, using a personal, religious, and humanistic approach. The character traits developed include religiosity, discipline, responsibility, nationalism, cooperation, and tolerance. This model has proven effective, with over 93% of students feeling helped in character development through affective and psychomotor approaches. Counseling-based PAI has the potential to become a sustainable education strategy towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
