PENGARUH METODE TUGAS TERHADAP PARTISIPASI BELAJAR PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS ISLAM JAKARTA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the variation in learning participation of students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Jakarta Islamic University, during the Philosophy of Islamic Education learning in class. The purpose of this study is to reveal, describe, and analyze the influence of the assignment method used by lecturers on student learning participation in class. This study uses a qualitative method with a survey approach. The data collection technique uses a Google Form question instrument distributed to 30 students. The data analysis technique uses the product-moment formula, which describes the results of the data. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant influence of the assignment method on learning participation, namely 1) Lecturers use appropriate teaching methods, the data shows that 82% consisting of 44% of students strongly agree and 38% agree about the statement that lecturers use appropriate learning methods during lectures. 2) Students stated 97% that lecturers teach students how to discuss well actively, 3)Students lose the opportunity to ask questions during class learning, 4) Students actively participate in learning in class as much as 60%, and 5) Students 44% stated that they disagree with the statement that they do not take part in working on group assignments. The conclusion of the study states that the assignment method has a significant effect on student learning participation
