Abstract

Problems encountered in the field of school principals have not succeeded in bringing their institutions towards the goals they want to achieve and improve the quality of education. The importance of research is to realize that schools can manage education well. based on the standard policy of the principal's leadership as education manager at MTs Insan Kamil Payatiman Purwakarta. The policy standards are guided by the First Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13 of 2007, concerning Standards for School / Madrasah Principals, Second of the Republic of Indonesia Law No.14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers Article 1 paragraph 10, Third, Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia number 6 of 2018 concerning the Assignment of Teachers as Principals, CHAPTER III Requirements for Prospective Heads School Article 2 (1). The research objective is to improve the leadership standards of the principal in education management and to increase the quality of education in Indonesia. The method of field research (field research) is descriptive qualitative. location at MTs Insan Kamil Payatiman Purwakarta, West Java. Data obtained by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted from February 2020 to April 2020. Data analysis was obtained from primary and secondary data and then processed, starting from data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and testing the validity of the data. Respondents are teachers, school principals. Deputy Principal, Administration. Students and parents are also the community. The results of the research by the principal of MTs Insan Kamil Payatiman Purwakarta have carried out their functions well as educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs. work climate creator.
