Pandangan J.H.A. Juynbol Tentang Hadis Larangan Niyaha Muslim Tradition in Chronology Provenance and Authorship of Early Hadis
Abstract
This article describes the study of the hadith niyaha from the Juynbol perspective by using the historical social history approach theory and the history of science as a tool for analyzing developments and the emergence of hadith prohibiting niyaha. The development of hadith and the codification of hadith are authentic evidence in Islamic civilization. On the occasion, the hadith is one of the evidence to strengthen a law that is based on the Prophet Muhammad. So Juynbol is very interesting to get to know more about the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad. Because of that Juynbol examined the many Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad and their developments. So that it can be concluded that the hadith is the product of the ulama-ulama in the 2nd century H. One of them is that Juynbol does not believe that there is a hadith niyaha (lamenting) which prohibits niyaha. Besides in the Qur'an, there is no relation between the prohibition of niyaha and the one with niyaha such as ranna, daraba khaddahu and so on has nothing to do with the problem of death, on another occasion the hadith prohibits niyaha from the side of isnad is a flaw at Ibn Sa'ad and cannot be traced scientifically.
