Abstract

The author interprets and explains the change of thinking about entrepreneurship based on the application of history, unifying the concept of entrepreneurial thinking which includes many things and explaining the concept of entrepreneurship in an integrated manner in a fundamental concept. Through this conceptual approach, it also explains the description of entrepreneurial theory in the past in accordance with the conditions that existed at the time and identified several areas of conception for progress in the future. The presence of the modern retail industry basically utilizes the pattern of public spending, especially the middle class and above who do not want to jostle in traditional markets that are usually muddy or not neatly arranged. Although this modern retail presence is highlighted can kill traditional markets because it has advantages in many factors, its development can be said to be unstoppable. This article provides insights for readers and practitioners about the meaning of entrepreneurship in the retail business economy in Indonesia. Business retail base on sharia principles and human recources whohave Islamic values.
