PARADIGMA HUMANISME RELIGIUS PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
(Telaah Atas Pemikiran Abdurrahman Mas‟ud)
Abstract
Islamic education is education as a whole, namely the existence of material and spiritual balance to achieve the happiness of the world and the hereafter. World Islamic education are now more likely concerned with 'ulumuddunya or' Ulumuddin only. But in reality it is often the purpose of education was not going well. Often we see that the education process is often violence against children, rule out the potential possessed by learners, using education are more likely to worldly affairs alone and many more less education system in accordance with nature. Therefore, Abdurrahman Mas'ud gave a methodological bid in response to the dichotomous system, namely by making religious humanism as the paradigm of Islamic education. In the context of education, religious humanism is an educational concept that refers to the element of "humanizing", to develop all the skills possessed by humans intellectually and religiously without abandoning religious values underlying it.
