Inevitably, a person's character, behavior and morals will follow what is happening around him. One of the problems that is happening today is the low value of good character and morals among teenagers today. Many factors cause changes in character and morals in today's youth, including gadgets, social media, promiscuity and several other factors. Therefore it is very necessary to study the sources of Islamic teachings (Al-Qur'an) in order to improve the character and morals of today's youth. This study aims to determine the value of education contained in Qs.Lukman:12-19 This research is a library research (Library Research) to dig deeper into the findings collected from various sources of literature. The analysis of this research uses descriptive analysis using qualitative methods. This study concluded that the values of character and moral education contained in Qs.Lukman ;12-19 are Lukman's will to his children, including gratitude, monotheism, devotion to parents, good deeds, amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, patient attitude, not arrogant and tawadhu. Al-Quran only implicitly reveals to humans educational values ​​in the form of compassion or lessons from its verses. Therefore, to reveal the Qur'anic concept of education, it is necessary to further study the various aspects of education contained in the Qur'an. By relying on the verses of the Qur'an and the interpretations written by the scholars. Verse 122 of Surah Taubah emphasizes that the resolution to all educational issues can be found if Muslims are capable of scrutinizing, investigating, and implementing scientific principles. By doing so, they will acquire fundamental educational concepts that can serve as a foundation for the development of a high-quality Islamic education system. This research is a library research using a qualitative approach. The analysis used is content analysis and uses a descriptive-analytical method. This paper explores students' motivation to participate in social media learning. One of the most popular social media in the Arab world is a telegram which is used as a medium for learning the Qur'an. </em><em>تسميع حر رفيقات الخير</em><em> and </em><em>تسميع وتعاونون بين الاخوات</em><em> are halaqah's of memorizing the Al-Qur'an specifically for women who are the objects of this research. The theory used in this study is the theory of the ARCS Model by Keller (1979) to understand and analyze the phenomenon of motivation for learning the Qur'an on social media. The research method used was qualitative with case studies in the two groups by interviewing several female students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the participants gave attention to memorizing the Qur'an due to cultural motives which have become a hereditary tradition, not something new or unique. There are elements relevant to memorizing the Al-Qur'an with daily life that is a need for the soul, there is a feeling of wanting to be calm, happy, feeling safe and protected from danger so that it is motivated to interact with the Al-Qur'an. Element Confidence that is, students believe memorizing the Qur'an can motivate them to succeed in the hereafter, not only in the world. This research also aims to reveal the impact of these two factors on the discipline of completing the study period of PAI Masters Program students. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with primary, secondary data sources and data collection by observation, questionnaires, interviews (Head of the PAI Master's Program Study Program, Al-Qur'an tahfidz lecturer, head of administration and students of the PAI Study Program for the 2019/2020 academic year) and documentation. The results of this research show that: first, there are two motivations for the students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) IIQ Jakarta Masters Program in memorizing the Al-Qur'an, namely motivation intrinsic and motivation extrinsic. Second, there are five efforts by the management of the PAI Masters Program to build students' disciplined character in memorizing the Al-Qur'an, namely: a. provide an understanding of the importance of memorizing and studying the </em>Al-Qur’an<em>, b. provide coaching or training, c. implementation of regulations, d.&nbsp; improving facilities and infrastructure, e. development of learning materials, the three impacts of these two factors on discipline in completing the study period of PAI Masters Program students, namely being on time, obeying regulations and being responsible in their duties.</em></p> Nila Murtadhiyah Hakim, Romlah Widayati, Muh.
