Savings products based on the muḍarabah contract have evolved through various innovations to enhance public participation in Islamic financial institutions. One such innovation is the integration of prize-linked savings and rotating savings schemes, which raises Sharīʿah compliance issues related to profit-sharing arrangements and customer rewards. These issues are particularly relevant in light of the Fatwa of the National Sharīʿah Board of the Indonesian Council of Ulama Number 115 of 2017 concerning the Muḍarabah contract and Fatwa Number 86 of 2012 concerning rewards in fund mobilization by Islamic financial institutions. This study examines the implementation of the muḍarabah contract and prize-linked savings schemes in the Safari Savings and Prima Savings products offered by Kospin Jasa Syariah Warung Buncit. Using a qualitative method with an empirical approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the muḍarabah contract applied to both products complies with Fatwa Number 115 of 2017. However, the provision of rewards in the form of cash remains inconsistent with Fatwa Number 86 of 2012, which requires rewards to be provided as goods or services. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening Sharīʿah compliance in Islamic savings product innovation.
