Abstract

The use of traditional games as visual learning media has great potential in supporting the development of early childhood. This study examines the integration of traditional games in RA Muslimat NU 23, focusing on hide-and-seek, hopscotch, and jump rope games. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, this study shows that traditional games not only develop children's gross motor skills, cognitive, and social skills, but also strengthen the understanding of visual concepts, such as colors, numbers, and patterns. The results of this study emphasize that traditional game-based learning is able to create an interactive, fun, interesting and meaningful learning atmosphere, while also preserving previous local cultural values.
